Guns are Irrelevant

Unfortunately, there have been a rash of shootings lately. Even more unfortunate, these events have precipitated an even greater focus on the controversy of whether citizens should be allowed to own guns. This is particularly unfortunate since guns are not the issue.

The issue, that politicians, certainly, are unwilling to face, is that no amount of regulations will make all people behave all the time. In fact, no law or regulation or policy or impediment or punishment will stop people from doing what they want.

In fact, no force, no threat, no gun, no matter how big or how fast, let alone no amount of guns will compel people to conform to any particular standards.

But, we all know this. It is not a mystery although facing the obvious can oftentimes be very difficult.

The truth is, what the world needs is more love. Love is the universal healer of self, of relationships, of the past and  of the present.

There is nothing more important than love.

Real love has to start with oneself. So even if  no one else has ever loved you, you must start by loving yourself. Start by recognizing that deep down you do love yourself. You may have been programmed to believe that you are unlovable, that you've done things that make you unlovable, or that you don't deserve to be loved.

But you had to get here somehow-- not your body, but your consciousness (no matter that the followers of the religion of science don't recognize consciousness, even while they continue to measure it in a myriad of ways). How did you get here? How did you come to be here? Well, you decided, of course, that you wanted the opportunity to be here (don't fall into the science believers fallacy of randomness, which is complete blatherskite).

The reason you decided to come here was because you love yourself and you wanted to experience more love. You could have had a hand in a decision to start out your experience in a tough situation, possibly even one seemingly devoid of love. But that could only be because you knew that, experiencing such a situation would ultimately make you more loving.

It is really up to you! Not the politicians, not the gun advocates or the gun opposers, or anybody else. It is up to you to decide if you want to follow through with your initial decision to come here to experience more love.

People who love themselves don't go around shooting other people in frustration.

Let's love ourselves.

Let's love one another.

The Bottom Line

All of us having just recently averted another end-of-the-world scenario (December 21st, 2012), I am inclined to make an assessment of the bottom line: We are all just trying to work good.

And how does this machine best run? Certainly not with sugar or any kind of processed "food products," let alone genetically modified organisms! Well, what about our minds? Does extended exposure to television or any kind of mass media massager offer the best way to sharpen our mental faculties? Hah!

So what do we do?

We take control!

We must own up to and take control of our OWN eating habits and our OWN thinking habits and our OWN action habits because what we eat we become and what we think we become and what we do we become-- automatically, habitually and unconsciously.

How do we counteract this?

Conscious, conscientious, and continuous practice!

Practice eating right. You know how, and you can do this: eat less, move more, and mainly eat fruits and vegetables. Don't just splurge on an organic banana instead of a designer coffee once in awhile, but consistently and persistently practice, practice, practice, taking care of your body. You deserve it. Get good at it.

Heed Hippocrates's advice:

Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food.

Be your OWN practitioner. You'll have more time and resources if you don't have to make appointments with and travel to and wait for someone else to "see" you. You'll feel better if you're not experiencing fat or sick. But if you are experiencing fat or sick, be extra, extra nice to yourself because you are in a weakened state and you need extra, extra good care.

If you're not the one person who knows and cares more about you than anyone else, then start being that person! Before you go to someone whose JOB it is to prescribe A PILL,

THINK! THINK! THINK!

Do you need that diet drink with formaldehyde-forming aspartame in your system? Or would a relaxing walk help you more to lose weight and feel better? Use your brain, use your mind, utilize that grey matter sitting atop your shoulders. This is your mind, this is your body, this is your life. And as the old Scottish proverb goes:

Be sure to live your life, because you are a long time dead.

So pay attention to what you're thinking. Start with what and who you're listening to. Is it positive? Uplifting? Fair and balanced? Really? Pay attention to what you're watching. Is it beautiful? Is it peaceful? Is it loving? Pay attention to what you're saying, out loud and to yourself, and how it makes you feel. How do you feel right now? Do you feel good? Do you like yourself? Do you remember often that you are equally as valuable as anyone else in the world? Are you respectful? To yourself and everyone else?

YES, YOU! And me. And all of us need to remember to practice good habits of eating and thinking and acting regularly and consistently and persistently with awareness and consciousness until they are our predominant, unconscious habits and patterns. Want a motivator? How about happiness?

Skip that beer. Toss those Doritos in the trash. Turn off the computer. Turn off the TV. Turn off the noise.

Just be still and experience the peace that passeth all understanding. Keep practicing and you will BECOME THE PERSON YOU WANT TO BE, the person you know you can be, the person you came here to be.

Turn yourself on.

Welcome to the End of the World...

...and the beginning of the new one. This is equally true on upcoming December 21st, 2012 and every day. Every day is the end of the old world and the beginning of the new one. Every day we all have a chance to say and to do and to think and to really feel things completely differently. This is the gift of the Eternal Spirit. This is our birthright.

Scientists agree there was a big bang and we all shot out like electrons from a source of power, a black hole of infinite possibilities. Scientists now agree we have a black hole at the center of our galaxy, the Milky Way, as indeed, does every galaxy, of which there are billions and billions. Kinda like the number of electrons in any thing. Everywhere, this side of on and off, and the other. Blink on, blink off, that’s what everything does all the time.

Just a few years ago black holes were just an idea. Now scientists have found them. Used to be the God particle was just an idea. Now scientists have found it.* Everything is exactly what the believers believe it to be. And we are all the believers. We also tend to clump in groups on the freeway and in ideologies. But we all believe in something even if it is in nothing.

Beliefs are just thoughts thought over and over. So we all find exactly what we believe—what  we expect—to be true. This is the perfect, holographic beauty of the universe, of our experience of it. There are as many universes as there are perspectives, though we all share certain aspects (our collective consciousness) which is what we must change. And we can.

We are all one, each part of the whole traveling on the same pipeline, the same electro-magnetic path, either upstream or downstream, depending on whether we’re resisting or going with the flow. One way feels good and the other feels bad. This is our automatic guidance system, which constantly indicates if we need to make an adjustment to achieve our goal: love or not love.

Today is the end of the world for anyone who chooses the path of love for the first time. For that person, even be it you, a new world dawns. A brave new world. There are rules, however:

1. Everyone’s universe is karmically balanced. You get what you give. You have to give joy to get joy. You have to give love to get it. If you weren't taught how to give love consistently because you weren't given love consistently, you have to learn how to do it. Only a willingness is required, and to set the intention.

Teach yourself or buy a book or go to a temple of the Eternal Spirit of your choice, be it a church or a synagogue or a mosque or the woods. But start with yourself. Love yourself. Even if you think nobody else loves you.

The Eternal Spirit loves you. Believe it. Wake up to the dawn of a new world, a new universe, a universe of your own conscious creation but also the real universe of unlimited abundance where the Eternal Spirit is sourced and where you are sourced and where we are all sourced and from where and whence we have never left.

There is no time, no real time, only a temporary perception of it hallucinated holographically to affect an impression. Again, the impression is good or bad, on or off, love or not, depending on each of our choices, what we choose to focus on, to see, to believe, and to co-create.

2. No one ever really gets hurt any more than we can hurt ourselves. We are all one eternally. We are all everything and nothing but flashes of light, infinitely fast, always everywhere and nowhere.

3. Whether or not you can get hurt, you can still feel bad. This is an intrinsic part of our internal guidance system. It tells us constantly, completely accurately, whether we are currently resisting or flowing at light speed, whether we are in love or not. Unpleasant (or worse) feelings are telling us, in the simplest, most straightforward way possible, “Change your thought, change your direction, change your belief, stop resisting, start going in a positive direction.” This will cause you to feel good.

Conscientiously keep doing this, changing your thought in a positive direction, first, until you feel better, and then, until you feel good until it becomes habitual (usually about 21 days). If you fail, try again. Repeat.

Note: You will keep failing until you succeed. This is exactly how success in any endeavor is achieved. Do not be discouraged. If you are discouraged, think of something that makes you feel better. You will be given unlimited chances, eternally. You decide how much “time” it takes, since time is an illusion.

Winning IS Everything

Few of us have felt the exhilaration of winning a gold medal at the Olympics, or winning the Super Bowl, or the Masters, or something similar. But I can say, for myself, even though never having won any of the above, I have felt an equally sweet thrill of victory. Yes, winning is everything. Nothing feels better. Trying, really, really trying, in an extremely focused way, is absolutely mind blowing. Reality changes. Time and space and dimension all mold and bend and expand to the will and desire of the aspirant. There is nothing like it.

Any kind of activity would likely work. Writing a symphony, making a cake, or a dress. A high school track event, or a piano recital, or acting in a play. Maybe even painting houses, or plumbing, or scrubbing floors. Doing it right, doing it to the best of your ability, that's really the key. And if you keep trying, keep practicing, it will get better and better.

It may be easier, though, to focus on something exciting, or difficult, or complex. To lose oneself in the dance, the dance of life, really, is an amazing sensation. You feel yourself floating, flying, like Superman, changing nature with brute force of will effortlessly, perfectly, beautifully.

It is over the space of time it takes to experience the process of dancing, charging, motionless that victory is achieved. This is the juice of life, the nectar of the gods. Victory over the mind, victory over the body, victory over the other dancing, charging molecules around you. Such a sense of freedom, of light. Such suchness.

The Ultimate Grand Unified Theory of Everything

Everything is in the mind. So all conscious humans can be divided into two groups on any subject: believers and non-believers. "It is true because it exists," say the believers. "It is not true because it does not exist," say the non-believers. Naturally, it is only true if it exists, if it is observed. Of course, we observe as we like. And we know our inescapable conclusions (and rationalizations) for sure.

Everything else is potential. Unless you think about it, no thing has ever existed or happened. Or not happened. One would suppose some amount of time or space must have transpired or transported or transferred, but only because it seems so. In the mind.

No thing has any intrinsic value or meaning. So there is no truth or beauty or right or wrong. Only on or off. Connected or disconnected. Only these "bits" of information. And God is Always Happy.

Observed is on, functioning with influence, connected.
Unobserved is off, not present, out of mind, unlimited.

Believers of materialism, or materialists, including a group called "scientists,"  have likewise fundamentally discovered and axiomatically proven what they have chosen to observe, to believe, to know, collectively. (A minority of scientists believe what they have discovered and tested and proven but has not yet been acknowledged by the majority. They are minority fundamentalists-- not to be confused with another minority, known simply as Fundamentalists, who consider everyone else non-believers.)

Scientists, as well as the rest of us, thus identify, order, "objectify" things or material, but only, only subjectively. This is because THERE IS NO OTHER WAY through the portal of our minds, our only real (or imagined) access to what is out there, what we label as true reality.

So we can imagine anything and create it and observe it right now, in our minds, or over a measured amount of space and time, such that others are also conscious of its existence. By these methods we create reality. And reality exists to the extent we create it.

Everything is measured using our brains via five senses or instruments designed to enhance those senses (but no thing yet with instruments we have not yet created),  all of which produce "sensation" or evidence that is thought to exist in an environment we perceive as a multi-dimensional space in time.

But whereas space and time may or may not exist and cannot be proved or disproved, there is most certainly a force observed, though not truly believed by (unconscious?) scientists, called CONSCIOUSNESS. This force exists outside of and independent of space and time. Therefore it cannot be measured. This force could be called GOD. It cannot be fully comprehended. Per observation, it can hardly be even partially comprehended by any measure.

Of course, we have other senses or connections, not yet measured or tested, or seemingly adequately so, at least by the majority of believers, regular and non-, that influence and are influenced by consciousness among other forces, both local and nonlocal-- because there is no space or time or thing with which to limit. There is only the mind. Consciousness. Creating reality.
